These terms cover the use of this website and the window tinting work carried out by W&M Media, a trading name of WINDOW TINTING LTD.
Quotes and bookings
Nothing on this website is a price list or an offer to contract. A quote is given individually after you tell us the car and the windows, and it is valid for 30 days. A booking is confirmed once we agree a date and time with you in writing, by message or email.
The work
Front side windows and the windscreen strip are fitted within the UK legal limit and measured with a light meter after fitting. Rear side windows and the rear screen are fitted in the shade you choose, as the law sets no limit behind the front seats. Because a meter reads film and glass together, we report the measurement we obtain and do not guarantee the outcome of any MOT or roadside check.
Your responsibilities
Please bring the car with the glass empty of stickers and accessories where possible, and let us know in advance about existing film, aftermarket glass or damage. Film cannot be fitted to cracked or chipped glass. Do not wind the windows down for 3–5 days after fitting, and expect slight haze or small water pockets while the film cures.
Warranty
We provide a 2-year warranty on our installation. If our film bubbles, peels or lifts within two years we refit it free of charge. The warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, scratching from objects or pets, abrasive cleaners, ammonia-based products, or film removed or altered by anyone else.
Cancellations
Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or move a booking, so the slot can go to someone else. We will do the same for you.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected. Otherwise our liability is limited to the amount paid for the work in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
